ASIACT Astrology - November 2009
...the miracle of love transfigures the dullest creature. It paints ecstasies of colour on the wings of birds as on the petals of flowers. It gives vibrant tone to inarticulate throats. It makes the humblest earth being glow with a light that overcomes the earth and transfigures the heavy flesh
In the Aura-Soma language of colour, the fullness of our being resides in our root, in our red energy centre – wherein also exists our survival issues. When we become less identified with survival and ownership and we awaken to a broader vision of interconnectedness, the light dawns and the red turns to pink. Then we consciously become a receptacle for love, the love from above and the love from within.
The love from above flows towards the Ananda Khanda, the turquoise centre on the right hand side of the chest. And so our heart opens and our process of individuation gains momentum – a process during which we explore and accept the star we are so that we are able to live our true purpose and take our rightful place in the endless firmament.
In Aura-Soma turquoise relates to the creative process of individuation and is a combination of green and blue - marrying our heart with our blueprint.
To get to know, accept and to love ourselves so well that we are able to follow our blueprint, to respond as a functional part of the Greater Whole, requires commitment. Love brings up everything unlike itself and our pilgrimage is to start where we are rather than from where want to be, giving voice to our less-loved archetypes – voices that often sound foreign and other.
Bottle 9, The Heart within the Heart, turquoise/green is also known as The Crystal Cave. Our journey towards individuation begins in the crystal cave where we find the crystallised patterns of conditioning that hold what we perceive to be our identity, in place. Chipping away at our inner crystallisation is an arduous task and compels us to re-create ourselves many, many times. Again and again we are compelled to modify an old self, our heroic idealism, our entire belief system and deal with the inevitable grief we feel as our jailed-in self sufficiency is stripped away.
Herein lies our true creativity: using the magic of love (pink) to ever renew ourselves. In this renewal there is a transmutation of the contents of self. The form remains the same, but the light that illumines the contents will be new.
Bottle 34, The Birth of Venus, pink/turquoise teaches that 'When the pink energy makes a connection with the turquoise, there is a possibility of something new and very beautiful.' Aura-Soma Sourcebook
Unearthing the wisdom held in the gold, our incarnational star, equips us to speak the words 'Open Sesame' and effortlessly find the gifts, the jewels in the cave: Bottle 83, Open Sesame, turquoise/gold.
As we immerse ourselves in our process of individuation we connect with the universal sea of consciousness to be in the right place at the right time, spiralling peace back into the heart.
